The Skills Development Center (SDC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building transitional life skills in adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We work with clients on a variety of marketable and independent life skills and appropriate social behaviors through in-house programs, community internships and facilitated peer activities, which help prepare them for employment and life as an adult. We facilitate peer interactions, cultivate positive coping skills and offer activities both in the community and in-house, which includes a Cooking Class and facilitated recreation center.
