WE ARE A NO KILL DOG RESCUE AND PLACEMENT EXEMPT FOUNDATION BASED IN MINNESOTA. WE ARE DEDICATED TO RESCUE HOMELESS AND UNWANTED ANIMALS. ALTHOUGH OUR FOCUS IS PRIMARILY DOGS WE SOMETIMES RESCUE CATS AND KITTENS. WE ARE AN INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATION AND DEPENDENT SOLELY ON ADOPTION FEES, FUNDRAISERS AND DONATIONS IN ORDER TO OPERATE. WE RECEIVE NO GOVERNMENT SUPPORT. WE TRY OUR BEST TO MATCH THE DOGS WITH THE NEEDS, WANTS, PERSONALITIES, WITH LIFE STYLES OF POTENTIAL ADOPTERS TO RECEIVE HEALTHY, HAPPY, AND PERMANENT HOMES. ALL HHK9 RESCUE DOGS MOST LIVE INDOORS. DOGS ARE SOCIAL PACK ANIMALS BY NATURE AND WE WANT THEM TO BE ABLE TO BOND WITH THE FAMILY. WE RESCUE ALL TYPES OF DOGS RANGING FROM SMALL AND LARGE BREEDS. ROUGHLY 40% OF OUR DOGS ARE PUREBREEDS WHILE THE OTHER 60% ARE MIXED BREED DOGS. WE WILL TELL YOU ABOUT EACH DOG'S HISTORY, PERSONALITY, AND BEHAVIOR, INCLUDING WHETHER OR NOT THEY ARE A GOOD FIT WITH CHILDREN AND OTHER PETS, THEIR NEEDS, AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
