Sierra Mountain Soccer Club, DBA Truckee River United Futbol Club, has developed a community of outstanding competitive youth athletes and highly-committed coaches that in result has positively impacted the Tahoe-Truckee region. In 23/24 we had 290 year-round competitive athletes and expanded our programming to now include 120 recreational athletes. Our coaching staff grew to 10 paid coaches who are certified by US Soccer from the Grassroot through the C level as well as educated in the TOVO methodology. We relaunched our annual tournament, Copa de las Sierras where we welcomed over 60 teams for a wonderful weekend of quality, high-level competition.
