In addition to in-person meetings, all meetings were available on Zoom (live) and also recorded, so that all members could attend or view the meeting if they are unable to attend in person.

WGR holds a Holiday Sale each year, which provides a venue for members to see their handmade items. Members receive 75% of the sales price and WGR retains 25% to cover expenses of the sale. As a further benefit to members, WGR pays the sales taxes on the items sold.

The Weaving and Fiber Arts Center (WaFAC) offers classes in the fiber arts to the membership and to the public. Area instructors contract to teach both adults and youths. WaFAC also provides 'open studio' time in which members may use the center and its equipment to complete projects with the aid of knowledgeable instructors. WaFAC has an extensive library of weaving/fiber arts books and periodicals, which are available to all members for use during the open studio times. Design software on a designated computer is also available for use.
