CROSSROADS PRESENTED TWO WORKSHOPS FOR HERITAGE PARTNERS. IN MARCH, THE WORKSHOP WAS HELD AT MORRISTOWN NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK CO-SPONSORED BY THE MORRIS COUNTY TOURISM BUREAU. THE WORKSHOP COVERED WAYS TO INCORPORATE INTERPRETIVE THEMES, VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT, AND VISITOR READINESS REQUIREMENTS INTO HISTORIC SITE PROGRAMMING. THE WORKSHOP ALSO FEATURED A SPEED CONSULTING SESSION WITH PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD. IN OCTOBER, A WORKSHOP WAS HELD TO ASSIST HISTORIC SITES TO UNDERSTAND DRESS IN NEW JERSEY AND THE MID-ATLANTIC REGION DURING THE REVOLUTION, AND TO HELP THEM SELECT AND PREPARE PERIOD-APPROPRIATE REPRODUCTION CLOTHING FOR THEIR STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS. THREE EXPERTS IN THE FIELD PRESENTED. THE WORKSHOP WAS HELD AT THE HISTORIC TRENTON MASONIC TEMPLE.
