The Physicians Medical Forum (PMF) Doctors on Board Program (DOB) and Initiatives encourages and supports students who aspire to become doctors. The pipline of students are high school, college/university, community college and post baccalaureate students who want to become physicians. The program provides studens with mentoring and networking opportunities. Students also receive information on taking SAT/ACT exams, MCAT prep medical school applications financial aid, internships, mock primary & surgery clinics, workshops on writing personal statements, interviewing and skill building sessions. High School students also network and are mentored by medical students, residents, physicians, educator and community mentors. PMF also provides scholarships, stipends and other access to finacial resources, networks and mentoring to medical students and residents. Additionally, PMF engages in programs and initiatives with physicians and educators on health policy and community wellness.
