W+ Standard and Technical Assistance: The W+ Advisory Council reviewed and approved three companies as accredited W+ verifiying bodies, based on guidance developed in 2024 for Verifying Bodies. Three meetings were held with the W+ Advisory Council. WOCAN provided technical assistance to projects applying the W+ Standard in Cambodia, Ghana, Costa Rica, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands. Expenses were for consultants' fees and travel to project sites, registration and verification by a third party auditor.

Capacity Building/Training: WOCAN provided hands-on training in the W+ Standard to 4 people as W+ Apprentices, three of which have now become W+ Experts. Two of these are women from the Asia/Pacific region, in India and New Zealand and one is a man from Mexico. All of the W+ Experts from the US, Mexico, India, Nepal, New Zealand, Madagascar and Cambodia met in Bangkok for a one week skill building session and to build a stronger network for their internal sharing of experiences.

Research: WOCAN prepared the TOR, interviewed 6 firms and selected a consultancy firm (Social Finance International) to conduct a market analysis of the W+ Market and an organizational analysis of WOCAN's capacities, to generate a roadmap for scaling the W+ Standard, as requested by the Gates Foundation. The work was conducted by a consortium that included the Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership, British Asia Trust and Consulting for Sustainable Solutions (South Africa).
