PET PARENT SUPPORT ACTIVITIES: THE GOALS WERE TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF HOUSEHOLDS RECEIVING VETERINARY CARE VOUCHERS TO PROVIDE CARE TO DOGS AND CATS; 465 HOUSEHOLDS RECEIVED VETERINARY CARE VOUCHERS, A LARGE UNDERTAKING WAS MADE TO INCREASE ACCESSIBILITY FOR PET PARENTS AND VETERINARIANS BY REPLACING PAPER VOUCHERS WITH CARDS THAT FUNCTION LIKE A DEBIT CARD BUT HAVE NO MONETARY VALUE LIKE A GIFT CARD. PET CARE ACTIVITIES: THERE WERE 39 VETERINARY PARTNERS LOCATED IN CUYAHOGA, LAKE, GEAUGA, SUMMIT, MEDINA, PORTAGE, AND LORAIN COUNTIES. THE NUMBER OF PARTNERS WAS INCREASED IN EACH COUNTY THROUGH THOSE SERVED SEEKING VETERINARY CARE, SERVED AS VOLUNTEERS FOR ORGANIZATIONS, ENGAGED (NEW) VOLUNTEERS, AN INCREASED ONLINE PRESENCE, AND OTHER OUTREACH ACTIVITIES. THERE WERE 287 VETERINARY VISITS FOR DOGS AND 145 VETERINARY VISITS FOR CATS. PET PARENT INFORMATION ACTIVITIES: HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE SEEK ASSISTANCE AND RECEIVE RESOURCES FROM ONE HEALTH ORGANIZATION. PEOPLE WERE INFORMED ABOUT RESOURCES THAT WERE AVAILABLE TO THEM. THE MOST SOUGHT-AFTER RESOURCE WAS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO HELP THEM PROVIDE VETERINARY CARE FOR THEIR DOGS OR CATS. ONE HEALTH ORGANIZATION PROVIDES TRUSTED ON LINE INFORMATION ABOUT KEEPING PETS HEALTHY AND HAPPY THROUGH BLOGS, NEWSLETTERS,SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS,AND DIRECT MAIL.
