The year brought many obstacles including a decrease in funding due to changes at the federal level in support of the TEFAP program. Staff were able to stretch the budget to best accommodate families with appropriate spending from funds in reserve. By working with volunteer programs though other non-profits and the two local school districts the food bank was able to continue a successful volunteer program to keep the warehouse and operations running successfully.
