During 2024 Code4Nature has continued to develop and refine the timber trackability system that has been developed during the previous years for Gabon. It also contributed to the elaboration of the legal frames for the implementation of the timber traceability system in Gabon. It worked on the establishment and organization of the Technical Committee, provided training materials ? ppt. presentations dedicated for each module of the mobile and web app, user manuals and a brief training. Assistance has also been offered to the trainers of the Technical Committee in organizing and providing a training to all the Provincial Directors, during events organized by the Ministry of Waters and Forests. Support has been offered constantly by C4N?s development team to the Technical Committee in creating a stable training and implementation environment and debugging for various errors in the timber trackability system, as well as in preparing the trainings in the field. C4N has continued the developed of a geoportal and has worked to develop the last version by implementing new functionalities of the new improved SNTBG geoportal.
