Through direct contact of specific individuals, we collected significant donations from four separate families. We also collected additional monies from three other families. Finally, we received a disposition from a 501(c)(3) organization that was undergoing dissolution. Over the next few years, we hope to expand our contributor base significantly.

We provided our second grant to the Sisterhood in the amount of $30,000 to help cover the cost of windows in the exterior walls for the building construction project. The timing of this grant was important because it allowed the building envelope to be completed before the winter weather arrived in earnest. This grant proposal was received from the Sisterhood and then reviewed and approved by the Directors. Upon approval, the monies were disbursed, and after the construction work was completed, the Sisterhood submitted a final grant report documenting where the monies were spent.
