THE YMCA TEACHES CHILDREN WATER EDUCATION, SPORTS SKILLS AND OTHER HEALTHY ACTIVITIES. THE YMCA SUMMER DAY CAMP ENSURES CHILDREN HAVE A SAFE PLACE WHILE PARENTS ARE WORKING. THE PROGRAM TEACHES CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT AND RESPONSIBILITY WHILE PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL GAMES, ACTIVITIES AND FIELD TRIPS. OVER 25% OF THE CHILDREN IN THE PROGRAM ARE RECEIVING ASSISTANCE FROM OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES OR THE YMCA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. THE YMCA PROVIDES A PRESCHOOL AND TODDLER PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN AGES 18 MONTHS THROUGH 5 YEARS. THIS PROGRAM WAS TERMINATED IN JULY 2024.
