Grief Retreat Weekends - Started in 2017 for families to attend a weekend in a Cincinnati retreat area. POMC rents a house at which, over the course of the weekend, individuals spend time on grief writing exercises. These exercises allow families to begin to deal with their emotions, especially their anger and frustration. Individuals who have been traumatized by a murder in their family have a hard time finding a new normal without their loved one, and this weekend helps by giving them comfort and hope for their future.
