NHSMUN NYC - IMUNA ORGANIZES THE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL MODEL UNITED NATIONS, THE WORLD'S LARGEST MODEL UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE, BRINGING TOGETHER MORE THAN 5,000 STUDENTS FROM OVER 70 COUNTRIES FOR IMMERSIVE SIMULATIONS OF THE UNITED NATIONS. NHSMUN HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED AS HAVING ONE OF THE TOP-QUALITY SUBSTANTIVE PROGRAMS ACROSS THE MODEL UNITED NATIONS CIRCUIT. THROUGH THEIR PARTICIPATION, STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT THE SUSTANIABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS, GLOBAL ISSUES, AND CRITICAL SOFT SKILLS, SUCH AS PUBLIC SPEAKING AND NEGOTIATION, THAT ARE NOT TYPICALLY TAUGHT IN CLASSROOMS. IMUNA ANNUALLY PREPARES MODEL UNITED NATIONS CURRICULA RESOURCES FOR TEACHERS.
