CONSERVATION LICKING LAND TRUST ACQUIRES AND STEWARDS CONSERVATION EASEMENTS AND LAND IN CENTRAL OHIO THAT ARE WETLANDS, WOODS, FARMLANDS, RIPARIAN CORRIDORS, AND SCENIC VISTAS. THE ORGANIZATION COMPLETES ANNUAL INSPECTIONS, MONITORS PROPERTIES, AND CARRIES OUT STEWARDSHIP ACTIVITIES SUCH AS COMBATTING INVASIVE PLANT SPECIES, REMOVING DISEASED OR DEAD TREES, PREPARING AND EXECUTING LAND MANAGEMENT PLANS, AND OCCASIONALLY TIMBERING FORESTED PROPERTY. LICKING LAND TRUST CURRENTLY HOLDS EASEMENTS ON 1,461 ACRES AND OWNS 125 ACRES. THE ORGANIZATION ACHIEVED NATIONAL ACCREDITATION IN 2016 FROM THE LAND TRUST ALLIANCE AND WAS REACCREDITED IN 2021.
