Cottingham Retirement Community, Inc., is designed to provide continual medical long term care to a primarily elderly clientele. The facilities are owned and operated by Cottingham Retirement Community, Inc., which is owned by Deaconess Senior Services, Inc., (an exempt organization), and are licensed by the State of Ohio. The facilities provide skilled nursing care, with an emphasis on rehabilitation to better able residents to resume their independent lifestyle, and offer assisted living intermediate care transition. Cottingham Retirement Community provides complete skilled and intermediate nursing care. Private and semi-private accommodations are available for short and long term illness and physical limitations, as well as extended acute nursing care. Physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies are also offered at the facilities. A variety of social activities are offered daily. Activities are conducted on the premises by trained staff members and volunteers. Resident days for 2020 were 27,560.
