Target Hunger staff, volunteers, and community members maintain two community gardens, the Willie G. & Gladys R. Goffney Community Garden located in Kashmere Gardens and the Shotwell Garden located at our main warehouse. Each year thousands of pounds of fresh vegetables are harvested, nearly all of which is distributed to clients. The gardens increase access to nutritious foods and serve as a hands-on way to combat food insecurity.
