The entity provides community transportation to elderly, disabled, and other needy citizens for medical services, nutrition, social, and recreational purposes. During the year 2024 the organization provided 21,115 rides to needy individuals in the Colorado communities including, but not limited to, Salida, Buena Vista, Poncha Springs, Antonito, Alamosa, Crestone, Creede, and Saguache as well as rural areas around the communities. Of the 21,115 rides furnished, 4,341 patrons over 60 years of age and disabled were served. 1,415 patrons under 60 years of age and disabled were served. And 8,309 patrons over 60 years of age and non-disabled were served. 4,697 rides were to medical services, 1,079 were for nutrition, 1,607 were for employment or education, 6,930 were for shopping, and 5,542 were for social or recreational purposes. Total vehicle hours were 11,370. Total vehicle miles were 242,719.
