OVER THE YEARS NEVADA PVA HAS BECOME THE LEADING PROVIDER OF SPORTS, RECREATION AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS FOR VETERANS WITH SCI. OUR PROGRAM INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES: (1) STEP OUTSIDE: (2) ADOPT A- VET: (3) SPORTS (FOR PHYSICAL STABILITY) AND (4) PARALYMPIC CHILDRENS SPORTS ACTIVITY CLINICS. STEP OUTSIDE ENABLES THE VETERANS TO GET OUT OF THEIR HOME AND TAKE PART IN THEIR COMMUNITY. ADOPT A- VET PROVIDES FOR THE BASIC NEEDS FOR VETERANS. NEVADA PARALYZED VETERANS OF AMERICA DELIVERS FOOD AND HYGIENE KITS TO THE HOMES OF 130 VETERANS EACH MONTH. THROUGH SPORTS WE OFFER BOWLING, TRAPSHOOT AND FISHING OUTINGS TO HELP ENHANCE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL STABILITY.
