We focus great effort on creating new reserves and protected areas to conserve rainforest and other critical ecosystems in Latin America working with local organizations governments and communities. Our efforts focus on saving Amazon rainforest and Andean cloud forests two of the richest biomes on Earth that hold a vast amount of our planets biodiversity yet are being rapidly destroyed. We also assist in building the capacity of local conservation organizations to achieve on-the-ground results in natural area and biodiversity conservation. This years grants were allocated to local conservation organizations and programs in Argentina Bolivia Colombia Ecuador and Peru.
