Public Policy: NCCEP serves as GEAR UP's voice in Washington, DC through its public policy and advocacy work. Our public policy team works closely with the White House, the U.S. Department of Education, Congress, and education associations, to promote academic achievement and access to and success in higher education for low-income students. NCCEP works to build relationships with key policy makers and legislators to educate them on the importance of expanding and enhancing college access programs nationally.
