(ETC) assist individuals transitioning from correctional institutions to society by providing them with holistic services such as discharge planning and transition coordination support; case management and workforce readiness programming; assistance obtaining employment and permanent housing, group counseling, substance use treatment, referrals to health care, mentoring, preventive programs for youth, alternatives to incarceration, and trauma-informed services. ETC also provides enhanced reentry services for returning citizens, including supporting reentrants, many of who would otherwise be homeless and otherwise unstably supported, increasing connections between reentrants and job opportunities, mental and physical health supports, food delivery, clothing supplies, Metro Cards, cell phones, benefits activation, substance use intervention, family reunification, motivational interviews, and transition planning from the hotels.
