EACH YEAR, THE SGAC FOUNDATION SPONSORS THE LEADERS' POLICY CONFERENCE (LPC), AN OUTSTANDING EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVE. THE STATE GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COUNCIL FOUNDATION HAS SPONSORED OVER 30 LPC CONFERENCES IN COOPERATION WITH THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF STATE LEGISLATURES (NCSL) AND THE COUNCIL OF STATE GOVERNMENTS (CSG). THE LPC IS AN ANNUAL MEETING OF THE STATES' LEGISLATIVE LEADERSHIP AND STATE GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS PROFESSIONALS FROM AMERICA'S LEADING BUSINESSES, ASSOCIATIONS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS. LPC IS DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE DIALOGUES ON ISSUES OF IMPORTANCE BETWEEN STATE LEGISLATIVE LEADERS AND PRIVATE SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES.
