Grants include funding for equipment, curriculum, uniforms, travel expenses, performances and other department needs. All 1,700 students of LVA benefit from these grants.Additionally, Friends of LVA supported many behind the scenes programs to enhance the abilities of staff members. Programs include staff appreciation events, providing additional technology and supplies, as well as supporting professional development. All staff members benefit from this funding. Friends of Las Vegas Academy also supported facility enhancements by providing funding for renovations to the Performing Arts Center. Renovations included new ADA accessibility, lighting, signage and landscaping. All students, staff and community partners of LVA benefited from this funding.
