WinstonNet serves as the lead agency of DBF, coordinating community-wide efforts to close the digital divide and ensure equitable technology access for all residents. WinstonNet also partners with local institutions to provide digital literacy training and employment-readiness programs. Services have included training for unemployed, underemployed, and low-income individuals, access to low-cost refurbished laptops, and support in obtaining affordable internet service. Special efforts also focus on supporting immigrants and refugees new to the area.
