Mission

The activities of the Department are based on its obligation to assist veterans. The Department support the initiation sponsorship and development of programs & services that enhance the lives of veterans active members of the military and their families. Member or stockholder classes and rights All members of the American Legion Auxiliary belong to an individual chapter known as a Unit. Any member in good standing with the Unit and the Department of Ohio has full rights and privileges to vote. Once a member is voted as the 2nd Vice President the member begins a 3-year term as an officer concluding with a 1-year term as President.
