THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE 9 FOUNDATION EXISTS TO SERVE THOSE WHO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY. OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE COMPASSIONATE, CONFIDENTIAL, AND MEANINGFUL SUPPORT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING TIMES OF NEED. WE ARE COMMITTED TO STRENGTHENING THE WELL-BEING OF OUR POLICE FAMILY BY STANDING BESIDE THEM THROUGH LIFE'S MOST DIFFICULT CHALLENGES. THROUGH DEDICATED FUNDRAISING AND RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP, THE FOUNDATION OFFERS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR MENTAL HEALTH CARE, HELPS ALLEVIATE UNEXPECTED FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS, AND INVESTS IN THE FUTURE THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION. WE BELIEVE THAT CARING FOR OFFICERS AND THEIR FAMILIES--EMOTIONALLY, FINANCIALLY , AND EDUCATIONALLY--IS ESSENTIAL TO SUSTAINING A STRONG, RESILIENT LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNITY. IN MOMENTS OF PROFOUND LOSS, THE FOUNDATION HONORS THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE MADE BY OFFICERS KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY BY SUPPORTING THEIR SURVIVING FAMILIES WITH DIGNITY, RESPECT, AND UNWAVERING SOLIDAR
