Resilience Building Workshops and Peer Support Groups: interactive workshops teaching coping mechanisms, mindfulness techniques, and positive psychology strategies. Facilitated group sessions, providing safe spaces for individuals to share experiences and build a supportive community. These workshops were offered to various groups, including teenage girls, students, women, community mothers, and school directors and teaching staff. We also provided free facilitated peer support group sessions to high school and college students to create a safe and supportive environment for discussing mental health challenges, sharing experiences, and building coping skills. During the year, we conducted 16 sessions and workshops at the following locations: Loyola-Marymount University, 100 Black Men of Los Angeles, Greater Emanuel Temple Church, OMG Organization, Village Arts Theater, and Shields for Families, reaching 750 participants and students who reported increased feelings of connection and improved strategies for managing stress, improved personal confidence, improved self-awareness and overall well-being.
