The Filipino American Cultural Organization(FACO) holds a Hiyas Awards Program yearly. This awards program is to honor those members who were selected by committee for being best in their field of expertise. This year the Hiyas Awards were presented at the Camp Pendleton, CA Pacific Views Event Center during a formal dinner. At this venue we also celebrated Christmas, Had a small fashion show, then ate drank and were Merry. The profit made at this event all went to help further the Filipino American Cultural Organization's many programs in the months to follow.

The Filipino American Cultural Organization (FACO) held its 22nd Annual Cultural Celebration, along with the City of Oceanside Public Library during June of 2023. This event included more than 14 food stalls plus tons of arts and craft vendors. Our Cultural Dance Group (CDG) as well as the Young Children Dance Group (YCDG) performed off and on all day. We also had models to show off awesome clothing during the Cultural fashion Show. What a wonderful summertime event for the FACO and North San Diego County to enjoy. This event truely gets better and better each year. See you all next June in Oceanside, CA for a whole day full of fun and festivities.
