Scholarship Awards- Each year for the past 22 years our SYWC has been awarding scholarships to the students of San Ysidro High School. To apply for our scholarships students must meet the following: Students must have attended San Ysidro School District, have a 3.0 Grade Point Average or above, write an autobiography, and have two letters of recommendation. A committee of five or more read and select the students to be awarded. We have awarded well over 500 scholarships ranging from $500 to most recently $1,000.

Teddy Bear Project - For the last 22 years our SYWC has been distributing Teddy Bears in December to all the children in San Ysidro. Our hope is to bring a little cheer and happiness to the students who might not have as much as other children. Our club has distributed over 17,000 over the last 22 years, with the average of 1,000 each year. We also distribute books and blankets.
