WE WORK WITH OVER 40 SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES WHO REFER THEIR CLIENTS TO US WHO ARE IN NEED OF FURNITURE AND CAN'T AFFORD TO PURCHASE IT. OVER THE COURSE OF 2024-2025 WE FURNISHED 402 HOUSEHOLDS IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY.IN 2024-2025, WE SURPASSED THREE MAJOR MILESTONES: IN 18 YEARS OF OPERATIONS, WE FURNISHED OVER 18,000 PEOPLE WITH OVER 100,000 ITEMS OF FREE FURNITURE WORTH OVER $6M AT THRIFT SHOP VALUE. WE CELEBRATED THESE MILESTONES WITH A RECEPTION AT OUR WAREHOUSE ATTENDED BY STATE AND LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS, REPRESENTATIVES OF OUR MEMBER AGENCIES, COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND MAJOR DONORS. OUR PROUDEST ACHIEVEMENT IN 2024-2025 IS HAVING FURNISHED 50 OUT OF 77 APARTMENTS SET ASIDE IN A NEW AFFORDABLE HOUSING APARTMENT BUILDING FOR PEOPLE IN NEED OF SUPPORTIVE SERVICES, INCLUDING MANY WHO WERE ESCAPING FROM DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
