Mission

The Grace in Kent Missions Fund is a nonprofit Ohio corporation. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors elected by members of the organization according to our Bylaws. The organization exists to further the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. The reason for formation of the organization is to provide ongoing financial support of Christian workers and Christian service organizations (and missionaries) formerly supported by Grace Baptist Church of Kent. Other nonprofit organizations and missionaries may also be financially supported through grants approved by the Board. Funds are distributed as grants to 501(c)(3) organizations or to individual missionaries under special circumstances. All grantees are screened to ensure that they conduct charitable work to advance the goals of our organization. The organization also provides prayer, encouragement, and refreshment as the Lord leads us to support our partners in their work.
