Event Accomplishments for 2023 included the coordination of three Signature Events (1.)State of the Chamber Annual Meeting, 2.)Celebration of Community Awards Dinner, 3.)Chamber Golf Outing. In addition, the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce facilitated 15 roundtable discussions for member interest areas including: Human Resources, Marketing, Women in Business, and Health and Wellness. The Chamber also instituted a new Leadership Orrville program and Envision Your Future for youth in grades 9 and 10. The Chamber also served our members by celebrating Ribbon Cuttings, Open Houses, NetWalk with the Chamber and Member Appreciation events.

The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce office accomplishments included providing administrative support for 350 Chamber member businesses and organizations. A variety of member benefits are provided including Group Health Insurance, Group Rating and Group Retro Claims Management, discounted Accounting & Payroll software, discounted office supplies, safety training and compliance programs. The Chamber also conducted the first local wages and benefits report for the area in nearly a decade. The Chamber also partnered with NAMI of Wayne and Holmes counties to present artwork in Chamber businesses from those benefiting from mental health resources.

Marketing Accomplishments included the continued improvement of the website with improved visibility for our member directory listings, press releases and information regarding organizational events and activities. The membership directory was expanded to not only be on the Chamber's website but also the Wayne County Convention and Visitors Bureau website to double the exposure for members. Social media channels the Chamber actively participated on included Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. The Chamber also provides members the opportunity to share their event and promotion information with other members via the organization's communication channels including a members exclusive Facebook page.
