THE WESTLAKE SOCCER ASSOCIATION ANNUALLY HOSTS THE WESTLAKE INVITATIONAL SOCCER TOURNAMENT (WIST). THE WAIST DRAWS TOGETHER OVER 200 YOUTH SOCCER TEAMS FROM THROUGHOUT THE CLEVELAND AREA, ELSEWHERE IN OHIO, FROM SURROUNDING STATES AND EVEN OCASIONALLY FROM CANADA, IN ORDER TO ENGAGE IN A COMPETITIVE ATHLECTIC TOURNAMENT. THE WIST PROVIDES MULTIPLE LEVELS OF COMPETITION SO THAT ALL PARTICIPATES CAN ASSESS THEIR SKILL LEVELS WHILE ENJOYING THE SPORT OF SOCCER. DUE TO COVID-19 PANDAMIC THIS TOURNAMENT GOT CANCELLED THIS YEAR WHICH AFFECTED THE REVENUE.
