Outreach and Education - NAMI Summit County provides a variety of support group meetings and education programs to assist consumers and their families cope with mental illness. NAMI Summit County has also begun a digital marketing program through various social media outlets to help spread awareness. Support meetings are held both weekly and monthly for family and client support. The Family to Family class graduated 52 people and the Peer to Peer class graduated 5 people during 2024. NAMI presenters to the Crisis Intervention Team classes performed 18 presentations to healthcare students, police and fire departments, EMS workers, civic organizations and churches during 2024.

Reedy Housewarming provides new, basic household items to those persons with serious mental health conditions who are transitioning from homelessness, group living, or incaration, and have recovered to be able to live independently.
