The Greater Cleveland Film Commission (GCFC) is the only 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to driving economic development and job creation by cultivating a robust film and television industry in Northeast Ohio. From 2009 to 2020, media projects in Ohio generated over $1.1 billion in economic impact and created 6,192 full-time equivalent jobs. GCFC's work drives a large percentage of Ohio's film tax incentive spending and job creation to Greater Cleveland. In 2024, GCFC booked six productions in NE Ohio with total combined budgets of $77.8 Million to film in Northeast Ohio. Productions hired 2,926 crew, 2,570 Background Actors, & 406 Vendors. They also booked almost 31,000 hotel room nights with $4.5 million in hotel room night spending in 2024.
