THESE DONATIONS ARE THE LIFE-BLOOD OF MANY OF THE COMMUNITY AGENCIES THAT RECEIVE THESE GIFTS. THE UNITED WAY OF ASHLAND COUNTY STRIVES TO MEASURABLY IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF PEOPLE'S LIVES BY BRINGING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER TO EFFECTIVELY ADDRESS HUMAN NEED AND POTENTIAL. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY WORKING COLLABORATIVELY WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AND PARTNER AGENCIES, ORGANIZED LABOR, OTHER NON- PROFITS, FOUNDATIONS, EDUCATION, GOVERNMENT, AND BUSINESSES TO CREATE COMMUNITY IMPACT BY INVESTING IN PROGRAMS THAT DEAL IMMEDIATELY WITH PEOPLE'S SHORT-TERM NEEDS WHILE WORKING ON LONG-TERM SOLUTIONS TO THE CHALLENGES FACING INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES.
