THE ORGANIZATION OWNS AND OPERATES A 58 UNIT PROJECT FOR THE ELDERLY PURSUANT TO SECTION 202 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT. THE LINDEN HOUSE IS DESIGNED TO MEET THE PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, SPIRITUAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL NEEDS OF THE RESIDENTS. THE LINDEN HOUSE IS A CARING COMMUNITY AS IT PROMOTES HEALTH, SECURITY, QUALITY OF LIFE, AND THE OPPORTUNITY FOR INTERACTION AND INVOLVEMENT OF RESIDENTS. A SOCIAL SERVICE COORDINATOR ASSISTS AND ACTS AS AN ADVOCATE ON BEHALF OF THE RESIDENTS, PROVIDES CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES AND COORDINATES NEEDED SUPPORT SERVICES. SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS ARE GEARED TOWARD SENIORS, GIVING THE RESIDENTS THE CHANCE TO SOCIALIZE WITH ONE ANOTHER AT HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS, PARTIES, GAMES, CRAFTS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AND EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS BY COMMUNITY PARTNERS.
