In 2024 CMI provided three main programs: 1 Capital Movement Dance Company; 2 CMI GenerationNext; and 3 Dance Outreach Programs. CMI engaged with over 25 dancers ages 18+ in open weekly classes and master classes in contemporary and hip-hop. CMI GenerationNext provided weekly classes and professional development training for dancers ages 11-17.

Field Trip Experiences FTE - provided multiple field trip experiences to over 400 DC elementary and middle school students. In alignment with FTE grant priorities CMI offered a Free Day of Dance for over 125 DC students and an in- school assembly at Payne Elementary School for over 75 students. CMI also provided inclusive dance educational experiences to local schools in Wards 5 6 7 and 8.
