The Edge Ministries operates a Christian outreach in a coffee shop environment. This is designed to reach individuals in a non-church, non-threatening way. The ministry is designed to be eventually self-sustaining through its net sales of coffee and food products. The majority of the Christian outreach, which includes bible studies, youth groups, counseling, formal presentations and debates; are provided by donated labor from various volunteers. The ministry began operations in August 2009. Initial donations provided the startup for the facility, however, equipment, leasehold improvements and initial inventories were donated. Virtually all outreach activities and associated expenses are provided by donations and volunteers.

The Edge Ministries also promotes local arts programs through its presenation of local musicians, particularly youth musicians, artists and poets. The Edge frequently hosts meet the artist events and displays the work of local artists, including hosting discussion groups. The Edge Ministries has also hosted various concerts and open mic nights for local musicians and groups, particularly youth. Virtually all costs associated with this activity is provided by donations and volunteer labor.
