The Gallupville House Association (GHA) offered a communtiy dance event on July 23, 2023 to residents where live music accompanied caller Paul Rosenburg from Homespun Occasions, for an evening of dancing and music. GHA offered refreshments. Approximately 75 residents attended. This program was funded by a grant from CREATE (Council for Resources to Enrich the Arts, Technology and Education) which covered the $500 cost of the band. Volunteers managed the evening and refreshments. Admission was free.
On July 23, 2023 GHA presented Doc Benson, a local folk singer, drawing 40 residents for an evening of song. The singer's $900 fee was covered by the CREATE grant.
GHA presented Reflections of Gallupville on May 20, 2023, describing the character of the town's hotel from 1872 through the 1930's. This event was free to the public and run by volunteers.
