PADS Lake County is a community-based organization that provides trauma-informed support, resources, and shelter to individuals and families experiencing a housing crisis. This is done via homelessness prevention and diversion work, street outreach, permanent supportive housing, case management, and emergency overnight shelter, which is PADS' primary role in the community. PADS Lake County is the only non-restrictive night-by-night emergency shelter in Lake County. Additionally, The Day Resource Center is open five days a week providing advocacy, case management, referral, and follow-up services as well as assistance in gaining access to mainstream benefits.
Permanent Supportive Housing: Program for twenty-three adults who are chronically homeless and have a disability.
