IPHCA provides education, training and technical assistance to potential and existing community health centers (CHCs), including its 54 member health centers who operate over 420 sites through a cooperative agreement with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Through this agreement, IPHCA conducts various statewide/regional educational offerings and technical activities to help assist potential and existing health centers meet the HRSA Health Center program requirements; to enhance the operation of health care services; to assist in the recruitment and retention of professional clinical staff; to help develop and maintain information systems; and to promote linkages between CHCs and related organizations and agencies.
