SUCH EXAMINATIONS ARE DESIGNED TO MEASURE & IMPROVE THE SKILLS OF THOSE WHO WORK IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION. APPLICABLE CREDENTIALS ARE AWARDED TO THOSE WHO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THE PROFICIENCY EXAMINATIONS TAKEN. ALL PERSONS WITH THE NUMBER OF YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD AND THE YEARS OF EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR EACH CREDENTIAL ARE ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THE EXAMINATION FOR EACH SUCH CREDENTIAL.
