The National Black ProsecutorsAssociation (NBPA) hosted 39 th AnnualConference and Job Fair entitled "Enduring Pillars of Justice" Policing, Penologyand Prosecutorial Discretion." It was held July 31 st , 2022 through August 5 th ,2022. An estimated 320 lawyers attended. There were more than 700 minutesof Continuing Legal Education Training programming provided during theconference. An in-person job fair promoting the hiring of black prosecutors wasconducted on August 2 nd , 2022. More than 40 employers participated in the jobfair, including State and Federal prosecuting offices. During the fiscal year theorganization created numerous continuing legal education training programsspecifically tailored to modern prosecution issues. The organization also heldnumerous social and community events to promote diversity in the field ofprosecution.
