Philippines: Education & Empowerment: Catalyst Leadership Academys (CLA) 15th year ran for 7 intense weeks with the theme KALINOW, meaning Peace Now. This comprehensive and dynamic program drew participants from diverse backgrounds and locations with a range of events and activities aimed at fostering freedom and empowering the potential of youth as well as the wider community. This multifacited academy included a 3-day pastor training, womens emotional empowerment conference, first aid training and adventure leadership training all held at the Global Impact base in Davao City as well as events like Limitless Youth Summit at Davao Oriental State University in Mati, Davao Oriental, and Talaingod, Davao del Norte as well as CLA held in Talaingod, Davao del Norte. CLAs holistic approach fostered leadership skills and personal and spiritual growth teaching Christ-led principles empowering participants to become agents of change to create a ripple effect extending far beyond its confines. Collaberations with key partners such as the 56th Infantry Battalion (56IB), TATAG IP Foundation, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Phillipine National Police (PNP) further enriched the experience, making it unforgettable and life-changing for all involved. Impacted Individuals: CLA Students: 44; Pastors Training Participants: 43; Limitless Youth Summit: 931; Womens Conference: 50; TATAG IP Scholars: 42; Military Personnel: 50. Speaking Engagements: Pastor Amy as Founding Director of Global Impact and dedicated Pastor of Ministry empowered individuals in their spiritual journeys. As speaker at the 43rd Mid-Year Baccalaureate program at the University of Mindanao, she profoundly impacted the 300 graduating students. Pastor Amy also preached in Iloilo City. Her messages You Always Have My Yes and Biblical Emotional Health empowered over 100 individuals. She also ministered and preaches in churches in the USA and New Zealand reaching over 2,400 individuals across various churches. Education Scholarships in Philippines: 15 scholars from elementary to university level were assisted through education scholarships. Besides financial scholarships, students also received help with school supplies, computer equipment and additional services such as counseling and learning support. Scholars included 7 university level students, 3 senior high students, 3 junior high students and 2 elementary scholars. These scholarships allow qualified, motivated students from underprivileged backgrounds to pursue an education that is otherwise out of reach. The holistic support greatly impacts their lives as well as the lives of their families and communities. Freedom Phillipines Anti-Trafficking Work: Awareness raising initiatives reached over 10,000 online and face to face participants in 2023. Four Limitless Youth Summits (LYS) were held throughout the regions reaching 1,781 participants. Global Impact delivered comprehensive lectures as part of the Officers Senior Executive Course at the National Police College providing executive officers from various agencies such as the Bureau of Fire Protection, Coast Guard, Bureau of Jail Management, and Phillipine National Police with in-depth insights and strategies to address human trafficking effectively. Over the year, two such classes were conducted, with a total of 90 ranking executive officers benefitting from this specialized training. As an active member of the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking Region XI (IACAT XI) Network, Global Impact hosted and facilitated events and programs supporting member agencies of the network, trafficking survivors, prostituted and trafficked women, social workers, investigators and prosecutors impacting 460 individuals. Radio Program: Support and advocacy for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) through weekly broadcasts - both on air and live-streamed on social media-offered crucial assistance and guidance to OFWs and their families. The Usapang OFW Helpdesk in partnership with 1197 DXFE, a Christian media platform, serves as a vital conduit desseminating not only Global Impacts anti-human trafficking advocacy but also its ministry works, with a central message of Gods love resonating throughout each episode. Covering a diverse array of topics aligned with Global Impacts core focus areas, the program regularly features key stakeholders, partners, beneficiaries, and supporters as guests and resource speakers, enriching discussions and providing comprehensive insights. In 2023, an estimated 25,200 individual listeners and followers were reached. Special Projects: Christmas Outreaches (Philippines): A Family Fun Day in collaboration with community partners was held for the Sitio Milyong Community encompassing 129 households and impacting 492 Ata Manobo participants. Medical and dental interventions, engaging games, distribution of gifts and prizes brought joy and festivities to the Ata Manobo tribe at Christmastime. This event also marked the launch of the Abaca Nursery Project which will benefit these households by addressing root causes of vulnerabililty and economic instability due to income loss from declining abaca production in the area. Global Impact was also a part of the grand Peace Caravan in Davao del Norte where indingenous people (IP) community received comprehensive medical assistance and other necessary services. A Family Fun Day was also part of the event providing participants with a chance to enjoy games, raffle drawings and a heartfelt message of Peace in our Hearts by Pastor Amy impacting 5,000 Ata Manobo participants. USA: Besides speaking engagements in the Philippines, Pastor Amy empowered more than 800 individuals in the USA through transformative biblical teachings and trainings at various churches in the USA. New Zealand: More than 1,200 individuals were empowered with freedom and truth through Pastor Amys spiritual enhancement training at various churches in New Zealand.
