During the 2024 - 2025 school year, we empowered 2,261 teachers across 73 school districts at 209 schools. A total of 63,738 new books were distributed. The program impacted 29,011 students directly, improving reading experiences in the classroom and book access.

The Student Ambassador program supports youth ages 13 - 24 in developing leadership, project management, and advocacy skills by completing service projects that promote equitable access to literacy. During the 2024 - 2025 school year, 150 student leaders organized and implemented 9 service projects, including 9/11 Day of Service, Trunk or Treat, Northside Toy Drive, Spurs Back to School Bash, MLK Day, and the Reading Buddy Project. The student literacy leaders engaged 5,024 students, who collectively provided 15,240 brand new books and read to 23, 134 students.
