Programming and Operating Support for BEE COLLECTIVE - The BEE Collective has significantly increased it's community education activities demonstrating that there exists a huge need for birthing and perinatal support. Higlights of the year include: Increasing capacity to support pregnant birthing and postpartum individuals by doubling the size of our perinatal doula cohort. The cohort receives ongoing mentoring coaching and professional development support; Increasing diversity by recruiting training and currently mentoring our first cohort of Afro Latina Latinx and Indigenous doulas; Increasing our impact by expanding our Perinatal Safe Spot lending library which now serves 40 families as well as our numerous service areas including housing transportation mental health legal and child care support; Increasing our community engagement by hosting our first community Indaba drawing 100 attendees initiating the inaugural Birth and Healing Justice gathering in South Carolina which garnered significant acclaim and recognition and hosting our fitst community Offrenda provided a much-needed space for grief loss and ancestral healing through visual and performing arts; and Developing new collaborative programs including free water walking swim classes for pregnant Black women and a monthly Healing Circle for perinatal and parenting families to share experiences access resources and engage in healing practices contributing to their emotional well-being and resilience throughout the perinatal period and beyond.

Highlights include: Hosting 65+ volunteers at the garden; Providing fresh food to 100+ community members; Adding 10 additional elevated raised garden beds to increase accessibility for seniors; Hosting several Community Information Meetings and Garden Days; and launching a new website.
