Central Valley Latino Leadership Academys (CVLLA) aims to build the capacity of the next generation of Latinos to step into leadership roles on nonprofit, municipal, county and state boards and commissions. Founded in 2017, CVLLA is committed to promoting leadership that reflects the Central Valley regions population. We host a four-month leadership training program serving early to mid-career professionals from San Joaquin to Kern Counties. CVLLAs Academy participants engage in intensive workshops aimed at advancing their personal leadership skills, leading in mutli-cultural settings and equipping fellows with the skills to lead effectively in board and commission roles. Since our founding, CVLLA has completed seven cohorts, guiding over 174 participants with skills to positively contribute to their communities
