FPNP IS A RARE REMNANT DRY DOLOMITE PRAIRIE ECOSYSTEM, WHICH REPRESENTS THE 19% REMAINING IN THE NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST 7 COUNTIES. THE FPNP IS SURROUNDED BY BUSINESSES AND CROPLAND.
